Matte decorative film for glass and window surfaces
Suitable for indoor glass partitions, this frosted film is light-transmitting, making the glass unbreakable and improving the visual mood of the room. It helps to clearly separate functional areas in offices or homes, highlighting the individuality of each room. Perfect for bathrooms, toilets and shower cubicles - provides privacy while keeping the room bright.
No glass dismantling is required for application. Does not require special care, is non-toxic and lasts a long time.
For assembly you will need:
- pulverizer;
- rubber spatula - for glass;
- blade - for cleaning glass;
- silicone spatula;
- sharp knife - for cutting the film.
Although professionals use special tools to install the film, simple tools that are readily available at home can also be used.
Installing a protective film at home:
1. Measure the dimensions of the glass;
2. Cut the film with a 1-2 cm margin from the top and sides;
3. Clean the window thoroughly using soapy water, a rubber squeegee and a blade. Instead of a blade, you can use a construction knife, which can then be used to trim the film after application;
4. Repeatedly apply soapy water to a clean window;
5. Peel off the protective film. Using two pieces of adhesive tape, stick them to the corners of the protective film on both sides. Peel off the protective film. Moisten the adhesive layer of the film with soapy water to prevent dust from getting on the adhesive layer.
6. Apply the film to the glass and, using a silicone spatula, smooth it out starting from the center of the film and working towards the edges of the film, preventing air and water bubbles from forming between the glass and the film.
7. Cut the edges of the film with a sharp knife and re-level the film on the glass with a silicone spatula.
It is not recommended to open windows for 12 hours after applying the film.
